Protura specialises in producing a range of USB based measurement products and solutions.

The products, which include interfaces for position encoders and load cells, combine DSP technology with a USB interface.

USB based instrumentation is ideally suited to applications that maybe required to run on a variety of platforms, be they notebook, desktop or embedded PCs.

Demonstration software is provided to run on Windows. Custom embedded and PC applications are also available.

New Products

The new P201 USB Encoder Interface enables a rotary or linear encoder to be connected to a PC with just one cable. Powered from USB, this provides a cost effective solution.

A compatible rotary encoder range is now available for pairing with the P201 to provide a complete USB encoder solution. These encoders are directly pin compatible with the P201 USB Encoder Interface, providing a plug and go solution.

The new LCIC-WIM is a very high speed load cell interface card with USB.
